Updated information on the 2008 Concerts is available here. The Performing Arts Supporters Group is for parents and friends who have an interest in the music education of students at Eatons Hill State School. We meet regularly throughout the year (usually on a Monday afternoon after school hours) and these meeting dates are advertised in the school newsletter, Parent News.
The Performing Supporters Group is an arm of the Eatons Hill State School P&C and helps organize the annual school concert, arranges for the hire of vests worn as part of the music uniform and undertakes fundraising activities to help purchase musical instruments and equipment for the benefit of all music students.
In 2006, the Group successfully applied for a Grant from the State Government Community Benefit Fund and used nearly $30,000 in funds to buy trumpets, trombones, microphones and choir risers for the Eatons Hill State School music programme. |
