Religion Instruction classes at our school are non-denominational (apart from Jehovah’s Witness) and are conducted in class groups on Thursday mornings for 30 minutes by volunteers who are accredited by their clergy. Parents will be required to purchase a Religious Instruction workbook and classroom teachers remain in the room or nearby to monitor students.
Upon enrolment, parents/carers will be asked to indicate on a form if they wish their child to be included in the Religious Instruction Program. If parents do not wish their child/children to participate, they are required to write a note to this effect. Students who do not undertake Religious Instruction will be provided with alternative activities in an area nearby and monitored by their classroom teacher.
